Is it time to get onto the battlefield?
Many Christians are defeated because prayer is not enough. They need to fight as well. Most never do.
Prayer is not spiritual warfare.
Prayer addresses God. Warfare addresses the enemy.
You will see limited results if you only do one or the other.
Paul said in Ephesians 6 that we wrestle with rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
And he also told us to wrestle in prayer, like Epaphras (Col 4:12).
This is what Daniel did. He prayed, and God responded (Daniel 10:12).
But it took a 21-day spiritual battle between the Archangel Michael and the spiritual Princes of Greece and Persia before the answers got through.
Jesus has now handed us the authority to fight those foul spiritual enemies.
Sadly, many Christians never use it.
Some don’t even believe in the devil, and their unbelief just makes his job easier.
Others duck the fight. They say that praise is warfare, and stick to that. It’s not – it’s praise. It can be used during warfare, but it is not a substitute.
Or they pray about the devil rather than fight him.
If God doesn’t answer your prayers, then pick up your sword and fight for your family, your church and your workplace.
These are the battlefields that Paul laid out in Ephesians 1-5.
Enforce Jesus’ victory rather than just sing about it.
