Jerusalem is a crazy crucible of religions and races who live in surprising harmony.
I went there recently and saw this sign (right) in the grounds of St Anne’s Church.
It celebrates Jesus healing a man with a broken spirit at the pool of Bethesda.
Now, the church is in Jerusalem’s Muslim Quarter and sits amid Arab shops and homes.
Yet the sign – like many others – stays put.
Muslims, Christians and Jews in this volatile Holy City find ways of tolerating faiths.
The bigots live here in the UK, where public expressions of Christianity are often banned, apparently because they offend other faiths.
Don’t believe it. It’s a lie propagated by politically correct liberals who hate Christianity and free speech.
I used to live in a Politically Correct borough where they banned Christmas in schools.
They called it Winterval, in case Other Faiths were offended.
But I knew many people from Other Faiths who told me: ‘We are proud to celebrate our festivals. Why are you ashamed of yours?’
The PC mob like ‘diversity’, provided you agree with them.
They could learn from the Arabs, Jews and other races who live, worship and trade together within Jerusalem’s city walls.
It’s not always easy. But it’s probably easier because they don’t have the diversity police erecting barriers between them.
