Keith Berkley

I have been a Christian for 44 years, and now help to lead Freedom Church by serving as an elder.

Over the years I have been on the leadership teams at several churches, and went on various mission trips to places like Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, and South Africa.

I have a pastoral heart and a passion to see people come into the fullness of Christ by knowing who they are in him.

Before my retirement in 2005, I worked in print as a compositor and paste-up artist. I live in a village on the south coast.

Carole Berkley

I am married to Keith, and help to lead Freedom Church by serving as an elder. I worked in the accounts department of FEBA Radio, a Christian charity broadcasting the gospel for 20 years. I am also a member of Christian Prayer Ministries.

I have a passion for seeing new Christians grow in Christ and to see the Holy Spirit moving in their lives to bring wholeness. Keith and I have four daughters, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jake Thom

I was baptised in November 2015 and have been a passionate disciple of Jesus ever since. I help to lead Freedom Church.

God has called me numerous times to be a heart surgeon (spiritually, of course!) and to ‘unblock wells’, which is a call to bring healing and deliverance.

It’s about God removing blockages that hold people back from experiencing true freedom in Jesus Christ.

In November 2017, God expanded on what ‘unblocking wells’ would look like and called me according to Isaiah 61:1: “… to proclaim good news to the poor, to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”.

I, like every believer of Jesus, am on a journey of being unblocked myself. Difficult at times, but so rewarding.

Cleland Thom

I live on the south coast, and have three adult sons and four grandchildren. I help to lead Freedom Church.

God miraculously healed me of an incurable back condition in 1978, and later said I would be called a prophet.

I’ve been called many things since then! But I try to give God’s insights to people and situations.

I have also written seven books.
