In December 2018, God gave me this word for his church. Tragically, I believe that Coronavirus was the fulfilment.
God expressed his anger because his people have set aside his laws and worshipped other gods. And that wave of judgment has not reached its conclusion.
And yet many of his churches have ingored his call to repent. The Lord is now considering a second wave of judgment if there is no repentance. It will be more terrible than the first.
God has used the Coronavirus lockdown to lead those with ears to hear out of the ‘Egypt’ in their hearts and in their churches.
These saints are now at the border of a promised land and must decide whether to go in and possess it.
Churches that try to return to Business as Usual will find that the Holy Spirit has moved on. ‘Church’ as they knew it has finished and if they try to ressurect it, they will labour in vain.
Those who put buildings ahead of living stones will gradually disappear.
And those who have rendered to Caesar ahead of rendering to God will reap what they have sown.
God has His winnowing fork in his hand and will clear the threshing floor of compromise.
He will soon require each believer and each congregation to choose between the broad road of compromise or the narrow path of his word.
Many will have to take agonising decisions because of their compromises with the world, abortion, sexual immorality, the new age, the occult, and worshipping creation rather than the creator.
The consequences will be astonishing and shocking.
If we repent of our our compromises now, it will be easier later.
Many have already allowed the enemy to start engraving his mark on their hearts. They will therefore find it acceptable to take his mark on their bodies.
But he is inviting each of us to search our hearts, confess our sins, and repent. His arms of love and mercy are open wide.
